I walk up the staircase
So weakly
Of course I have no grace
I am the seed, not the tree
"You are young and foolish,"
A slap across my cheek
My body crashes into the tank of fish
"You're not strong, you're weak,"
He left me there dying
Because I was born
He left me there crying
Because my heart is torn
Blackness appears
Then so much sunshine
Sliding down my cheek, so many tears
A warm sensation that I'll be fine
An angel said, "It's okay,"
I looked around me
"That bad man is now away,"
He was not here for me to see
I looked down
Every feeling around me showered
I saw that town
"Daddy," I whispered, "You're nothing but a coward."
