Geez, what happened to the goths since I was a kid... That list makes little sense to me and most of the goths today act nothing like we did 15 years ago. Actually I feel angered by most of the people who refer to themselves as goth and just think it is about the clothes and the music. I used to be a goth and back then there were very few of us, now it appears that everyone wants to be a goth. Back then goth was about being an unique and yourself, it wasn't about clothes or being depressing or anything like that. We were just very different from everyone else around, okay so we dressed in Victorian dress of someone in morning and usually had conversations about death and Poe and the like, but that was just what brought us together. *sighs* It sort of frustrates me to see the goths of today because it feels like they have marketed the image and packaged it for everyone. No one seemed to understand what it meant to be a goth as it did back years ago.

Or maybe I'm just getting old in my age and am going to be considered as that old grumby woman who is clinging to her past... *sighs*
