I'm not sure about all of you, but I find it easier to write sad, depressing, sombering, ect. poems than to write happy or joyous ones ((even though most, of the poems I've read in this forum have been sad and what-not)). A lot of my friends agree, too. I really want to know hwy this is. Maybe it's because people prefer to write to write when they're sad rather than when they're happy. I know when I'm sad, I feel like writing it out, but when I'm happy, I usually just dance around or sing random songs.

Whaddya think? What's you feeling behind your poems?

And sorry for any typos, they shouldn't be all that bad.

I also find it easy to write sad, depressing poems. But they never really come out that way when I write them.... Even so, I'm not a poet at heart. I'm a novelist/manga-ka at heart....

I agree. However, maybe its because when we are sad, we know how to describe what we are feeling therefore it is much easier to transform the suffering into words? Poems about happiness are impossible for me to write...Maybe we don't write about happiness because we want that feeling to remain our own and being selfish beings, we don't want to share.

lol. I'm thinking to much again. Sorry. sweatdrop
