No, seriously.
Where is the ocean in their world?
As far as the map goes, Amestris is completely surrounded
Perhaps their on a huge continent like Europe(my theory is they live in a sort of alter!Germany)
What's your theory?
Xing = Asia?
Drachma = Russia?

Xing is definitely Asia. Ishbal is most likely India/Middle East...and I agree that Amestris would be Germany and Drachma would be Russia.
And where is America? =D

ED COULD BE WILL TURNER AND WINRY WOULD BE ELIZABETH SWAN AND ALPHONSE WOULD BE... UH, JACK SPARROW?
Ed fits Jack Sparrow better, but then, Al/Winry isn't as cute as Ed/Winry. DD= Aah, dilemna!
Maybe Alphonse could be Barbossa (albeit a nicer Barbossa) and one of his kitties could be Jack the monkey and Ling could be Jack Sparrow since he always bugs Will Turner and Ran Fan could be the voodoo lady! =DD

But Ling has to be Davy Jones instead because of what happened in Pirates 3.
Hey, wait.....LING WITH A TENTACLE FACE OH GOD. XDDDD That's even worse than imagining Al as Barbossa.
Oh! And Roy is Norrington, Breda is the pirate who says "Ello, poppet", Fuery is the midget pirate, and Havoc is the pirate with the wooden eye! XDDD

OH wiat! Riza can be Animaire in the first movie, and Armstrong can be the Govener...wait, what happens in threee. *facepalm* Don't tell me, I'm-a goin' to see it today. Anyway Barry the Chopper can be Will's dad...OH GOD, BARRY WOULD BE ED'S DAD THEN! The Homunculi could be all those drunks at Totuga! Hohenheim can be the Irish dude, and Sig could be the guy with the parete!

Now tell me, all. You've got all these great ideas for the others. But here's a challenge: WHO'S ARMSTRONG IN FMA's PotC?! xD *can't wait for what everyone comes up with.
Well, if you're a AlxxRose fan, then Al could be Will, Rose could be Elizabeth, and Ed Jack Sparrow. Winry could be... uh...Lady Luck, who seems to keep dissing everyone when they need her most. xD I dunno: I'm just letting my brain ooze whatever comes out...
