Real Horrorshow Groodies

PostPosted: Sun Jun 10, 2007 10:49 am

I've been wanting to watch it for a while now, and I finally got around to it. Let me just say that it was AWESOME! Best action sequences I have seen in some time (yes, superior to 300).

Basically the movie takes place in a dystopian future in which emotions are outlawed. It has a lot of elements from Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 in it. The main character, Preston (played by Christian Bale), is a top enforcer who joins an underground resistance to overthrow the opressive government. Highly recommended if you are a fan of the action movies.

This movie is bloody amazing. I really love how the politics or democrat could take things to far. That they believe hate, sad, or emotion causes war, violence and other negative things. The arts, musics and other entertainments causes these emotion. I'm sorry if I am giving away the movie but over all I thought the movie was amazing and it's a must see movie.
Christian Bale played a amazing role in this movie and I really thought Taye Diggs was kind of creepy when he smiles, he smiles a lot. The action scene is crazy and very original. It's such a kool movie and now I want to see it again lol ;3

I liked it because i'd never really heard of it before. I don't know why. And then watchign it. OH...dog part was sad lol. I always get sad at dog parts lol. Silly directors and toyign with emotions. Like i watched Project X today. OMG totally sad movie in the beginning. They just have to make it a monkey with sad eyes.

wow tangent lol
but ya. while watching it. Your just run thru with your own q's. Like what would you do in that situation and what if you were the kid.

I also enjoyed the movie. I'm a sucker for anything Christian Bale invests his talent in. However, I think it had the potential to be more. I wish they could have had a little bit bigger budget to make the movie on. Not that it need to be the Matrix

Well, I think '300' had GREAT action scenes, plus the visual concept...

But yes, 'Equilibrium' was a great movie, awesome action scenes and interesting message. I'd recommend it as well.

Wait you can't compare a Equilibrium to 300 if the forum only focuses on equilibrium and how both movie are related.
I don't think 300 has an awesome action scenes; it was just slashing and pushing that's it. Well that is what I believed and Equilibrium has crazy moves, surprises and the fusion of gun and kung-fu is sooo wicked. So, if you would have compare 300 to equilibrium for best action scene, it will be equilibrium.
