Actually gave myself this idea when I posted it for a contest suggestion and as it looks like it probably won't be used here is the story.

Writer’s Block

Puddles of water dotted the floor of the old cabin. Sparkling in the moonlight, still and quiet until just for a second a figure appeared in one. Then in another and another, the same figure flashed for a brief moment. As the moon slid behind a cloud, the same figure could be seen peering out from the small cracked mirror on the back wall just before everything went black.

Dreugan pushed back from the computer and stood up to stretch. For three years Luchainn’s story had haunted his dreams and stealthily snuck her way into all his other stories, but now that he was putting words to paper, she had become elusive. Her tale stubbornly filtering through a wall in his mind, until now – the tale seemed stuck behind it. With his deadline looming, Dreugan knew that his publisher would shortly be after him for this story. Swearing, he began pacing his living room in frustration. It had taken him six months just to get this far. Six months of outlining Luchainn’s past, gathering all the snip-bits of information that had leaked into his other works, and all he had to show for it was one small paragraph.
“Okay, time for a shot of caffeine.” Dreugan mumbled as he made his way into the kitchen.
Grabbing a cold can of Diet Coke out of the fridge; he popped it open and took a swig, "Let's see now. I'm in the future...how far I don't know but definitely more than a century from now. Mankind has evolved somewhat and there are people with subtle powers of the mind. "
Grimacing he shook his head. That sounded way too much like X-Men and not really what he had in mind. Sighing he tried again, "Okay, let's just start with Luchainn. Here's a sweet teenage girl who's been through a lot but who still has a heart of gold. In fact she cares too much, it gets her in trouble because she uses her special ability to help other children who are being hurt or neglected. It is this ability to move from place to place through anything that can reflect; mirrors, water, windows, etc., that had everyone from the government on down looking for her."
Now, Dreugan nodded, much better and slightly more original. Sometimes he was very glad he lived alone so he could talk his stories out. It often helped him focus and work through whatever was currently blocking his creativity. It was almost as if someone, invisible but present, was helping him through the maze of his thoughts.

Shahrukh quickly closed the life book of the writer he had been inspiring. These writers were a tricky lot because they were so sensitive to the invisible threads that surrounded them. That was why the Fates wove strong barriers in and around their imaginations. However, these threads also clouded the stories of those who lived through a writer's pen. Which reminded him, he needed to go tell Luchainn that her tale was started but her author was going to be one of the trickier ones to work with if her strands kept getting caught by the Fate's blindfold. Actually, it puzzled him why her particular story was having so much trouble being told. This particular writer had more than a dozen stories that had chosen him and none of them had needed the extra magic touch the muses like Shahrukh gave writers to help pierce the Fate's spell of darkness just a little. It made him wonder if something more was going on that even he couldn't quite comprehend.
Exiting the meditation chamber he was almost knocked flat by the slender body that flung itself at him. Warmth spread through his body as he was held close by his favorite story. Laughing he said, "Now, sweetheart how do you always know when I'm thinking of you?"
Luchainn smiled coyly as she ignored the question, "I told you not to mess with my writer Isqh. I'm perfectly happy waiting for my threads to untangle all on their own."
"This is no existence for you. Stories are made to live in the imagination of the reader. They just need a writer to craft them and your writer seems to be double blinded when it comes to your story. It's almost as if the Fates are conspiring to keep you here with me."
Luchainn laughed, "Oh yes, my future lies you. So don't you worry about my story, it will be written by Dreugan eventually and then my real destiny can commence."

I think so, taking a break right now...story was moving too fast in my head so I lost track of where I was in respect to writing it compared to where my brain was.... stressed

As I wasn't too sure the title was actually working in terms of making sense and the point I had gotten in my writing was an okay point to stop and get feedback, I figured I'ld get some second opinions before moving on.

Paheli put his pen down and stretched. From behind came two loving arms to hold him close. Relaxing, Paheli laid his head back into Usas' soft breasts and closed his eyes as he felt her soft lips kiss his forehead.
"Nice tangle of stories my goddess."
Usas laughed, "That's why I brought them to you little spirit. Who better to untangle all these threads then my own personal riddle?"
Shaking his head Paheli wondered exactly when his destiny had gotten so entwined with that of the all-seeing eye of the gods. She always seemed to expect him to smooth out any problem with whatever tale she had set in motion. Sighing, he removed her arms from around him and stood up.
"A writer, a muse, and a tale. Or rather, a story with two different tales to tell. Tricky, very tricky. After this one, I really think you should stick to being the Goddess of the Dawn and leave the crafting of stories to those who nurture the world's writers my love."
Usas lightly squeezed his shoulder, "I promise to stick to driving the darkness away after this mess Isqh. Though I did pursued Dagda to help you with Dreugan, he is after all the father god of Dreugan's tribe."

"That's right, Luchainn is Dreuganbhai's story isn't she?"
"Yes, but she loves Shahrukh very much and has gotten someone to help her stay with him."
"Ah, but that implies she has a heart and a soul as usually stories only wish to be told."
"True, but how can one separate the soul from the story itself?"
Paheli chuckled then kissed Usas, "My dear goddess, your little Luchainn is the first and only story that has ever had a heart, never mind a soul. Now that I realize that I believe that soul has a name all its own, one that has been written on Shahrukh's heart by a much higher power, else why would someone agree to help her with no strings attached."
Shocked Usas was silent a moment, "True, but muses can't marry or have relationships. If it is true a higher power has entwined these two's destinies than once we untangle Luchainn's story there must be some plan lying in wait to fulfill it. Oh, I can't wait to see what unfolds."
"Yes, that will be fascinating to see. Now, to get things in motion we first must know what Luchainn's soul name is. So while I try to obtain it you introduce Dagda to his charge."
" Will do love of my life, but which god do you plan on going head to head with to find out Luchainn's soul name?"
"Hum, yes I do need to talk to the correct one don't I. Well, considering there's a muse involved that would imply it's one of the music, dance, or inspiration ones."
"There are two inspiration, three dance, and seven music gods Isqh. Twelve is still a lot of gods to choose from Paheli."
"True, however taking into account which muse we're talking about and the particular pantheon you belong to I believe we can narrow it down to only two gods."
"Yes, Nataraja the lord of the dance and Narada the giver of advice, he is also considered a music god. So, which of them will you approach?"
Paheli smiled cunningly, "Isn't it obvious? Who else but a sage that is also a messenger, teacher, wanderer, and musician would know the way of a muse's heart or a story's soul, plus as a guardian deity of women Luchainn's plight would be of special interest to him. Of course, as a minor incarnation of Visnu he can be counted as a creator god, thus it is entirely possible that he is the greater power who has written Luchainn's soul name on the heart of Shahrukh."

Ok, as it is going to get quite obvious that this is semi based in some fact I am going to provide links to what I can on information and post some background on what I can't get links to.

Dreugan

Shahrukh Khan

Gauri Khan

and basically the why did I choose him other than I'm (like many others) kinda obsessed is that I saw this article on the fact that they changed the whole hero to him in his first tv series because the camera loved him:

The Camera Chose Shah Rukh Khan

Now I need to refind the "Book of the Gods" to give any more info so that's all for now.

Narada (giver of advice)
Minor but popular deity. Hindu (Vedic, Epic and Puranic). Narada is depicted as a sage who is also a messenger and teacher. Born from the head, or throat of Brahma, and alternatively a minor incarnation of Visnu. In various roles he is aguardian deity of women, a musician and a wanderer. Narada, often bearded, is generally depicted standing with the musical instrument that is his invention, the vina (lute). By contrast to his benign nature he is also described as a "maker of strife" and as "vile." Also Kali-karaka; Pisuna.
Pg. 178 Encyclopedia of Gods; Over 2,500 Deities of the World by Michael Jordan

Nataraja (lord of the dance)
Form of the god Siva. Hindu (Puranic). Emerging from 1200 AD onward, this form depicts Siva as "lord of the dance" ringed by fire and with one foot on a demon in the form of a black dwarf. Nataraja arguable epitomizes the moving power in the cosmos. Largely seen in southern Indiam bronzes that display the dance-form anandatandava.
Pg. 179 Encyclopedia of Gods; Over 2,500 Deities of the World by Michael Jordan

Usas
Goddess of the dawn. (Hindu (verdic). The daughter of Dyaus and, according to some texts, the consort of the sun god Surya. An auspicious deity, Usas brings the dawn, heralding Surya, and drives away darkness. She is the all-seeing eye of the gods. In the Rg Veda she is depicted as a beautiful young virginal figure who rides in a hundred chariots. She sets all things in motion and can render strength and fame to her devotees. In addition to being perceived as a sky goddess, she is also drawn as a mother goddess in the guise of a cow. Epithets include "mother of the gods" and "mother of cows." She is invoked to give the boon of longevity, but a more malignant aspect reveals her as a huntress who wastes human life. Usas sometimes enjoys domestic worship as a guardian hearth goddess who drives away darkness and evil spirits. She disappears, however, from later traditions of Hinduism.
