I got my boyfriend hooked on the Eddings' books. biggrin I suggested that he read the Belgariad, and he really enjoyed and devoured the whole series in a few days. Now he's reading the Mallorean.

The other day he was really tired, and I asked him why, and he said he didn't get very much sleep... I said, "Whose fault is that?" and he replied that it was David Eddings' fault. Oooh. I see. xd

I've gotten my boyfriend hooked through the use of the Elenium, but most of my friends who I get hooked on Eddings I started with the Belgariad.

My older brother has been saying ever since I got my best friend hooked that it was like a drug. By the way, it's a bad idea to to only give someone Pawn of Prophecy for a gift, once they finish you usually get something heavy or hard thrown at you, at least in my experience.

YEAH.

My boyfriend was saying that he would have been VERY angry and frusterated if he had only had the first book, instead of the whole series together. You can't just read one and wait to read the rest. It doesn't work that way. mad
