Greetings, fellow doctoral staff! The name's Doctor Emmitt Brown, and I'm here to find a common ground amongst the lot of you, so here goes nothin! Okay, this discussion is about your rituals, mundane and insane. Anything that you think is odd or in the least interesting, I'm game! To begin, I guess I'll post one of my oddities...it's not really spectacular, but I do find it a bit...interesting. One thing that, for some reason, I can't stand is opaque beverages. Yes, you heard, or if you would like to be all literal and corrective, saw me say, I don't like them. I see them, and a little piece of my soul dies inside, knowing that there are people out there that like, nay, LOVE the things. For example, the Sobe refreshments that are all cloudy and non-see through, with the bright colors...I can't bring myself to drink them, no matter how good they smell. I can handle smoothies and the occasional delicious icee, but, the items like drinkable yogurt makes me gag at the thought of it. I don't know if I'm the only one out there, but I know my family sure has a good laugh over the whole "I hate opaque beverages!" thing. It is kinda funny, once you think about it. So, now that you maybe-kinda-or-not understand where I'm coming from, I'd be interested in hearing what your likes/dislikes/odd behaviors are. Have fun with it!

Hello Doc.
well now i would diagnose your fear as opaque-aqua-phobia
Now aside from my professional opinion, my odd topic to bring is...
i can not eat a balogna sandwich without mustard....and I find the voice of the Joker from "batman the animated series" pleasant to go to sleep by.

Ha ha, yeah...that's funny. ..but then again, there are some voices or other sounds that can be soothing to certain people. ..for example, one person could be easily lulled by a beautiful orchestration by chopin, while at the same time, sr. punkNstuff is calmed by a wonderful acid rock. Ha ha! Okay, another thing about me...I HAVE to eat the orange flavored jellow before the little oranges at the bottom of my mandarin jell-o cups..haha! ..or I have to eat all the hard cereal of Lucky Charms before I can eat the marshmallows.. n_n To each his own, huh? xD

Like, I eat all the yellows first, then the orange, thn the blue, and so on.

also to do with color, i must eat the odd number of m and m's in the package until each color has an equal amount ....then i must eat my fav colors up before i can move on to the next color....yes odd.....
also I do not like to eat the very last of any food...
example a bag of chips, i'm eating and find there is one left, if i am eating with a friend i will not touch the last chip, for fera they might have wanted that last chip...
and so the chip the lone chip sits untouched in the bag...sad

Haha, that's awesome, guys.. xD I do the color thing, too. I also do it on a different scale. Every time I eat, I have to eat and finish everything on my plate, one at a time. ex: peas, corn, meat, rice...no stopping and trying anything else until I'm done.. xD I also tend to save what I think the best piece is for last.. xD [of whatever I'm eating]

If I see like, A bunch of candy bars on A table or something, just in A pile, I have to arrange them in an orderly fashion. Like, A square, or A pyramid. and I get mad if anybody eats one and ruins my structure.

I do the thing with piling things in a pile. I also used to eat everything in order. Sometimes I'll eat Nerds in order from least to greatest number of colors in my hand. Oh, I also have to always put on my left shoe before my right (same goes for socks). I do the "save the best for last" thing with eating as well. Which is why I always get mad when someone steals the last bit of my food. =/ I can't think of anything else peculiar at the moment...

I have a microscope, and I like to take my bodily fluids (blood, saliva, sweat, urine, other unmentionable fluids) and put them on a microscope slide to be examined by me.
I even went to a sperm bank and asked for a sample. No joke.

Haha! Yeah! I have the organizing bug, as well. I have to have things a certain way, and if it moves, I tell myself it doesn't matter, that it'll be messed up later, anyway. ...but the thing is, I HAVE to do it. It's my obsessive compulsion..haha!

Dr Hawkeye Pierce Dr Jenny Glenn I even went to a sperm bank and asked for a sample. No joke. Did you say what you needed it for? Yes, and the clinic head was happy to oblige me. She said that I'm not the first person to make a request like that.

That's really gross...what did you really want the sample for? ...and are you lying about them releasing biological material to some schmoe from the street?
