Right,so, I'm a lazy beyotch, which is news to no-one, and I've decided to forego the Bizenghast cosplay I was gonna do in favour of cosplaying my current avi. Problem is, I've got no idea how the hell I'm gonna do the flaming wings. I have everything else covered, but the wings are giving me a little trouble. I was thinking of using pantyhose and coat hangers with feathers over them to make them look like they're flaming, but I'm not really sure how good that would look. So, fellow Otakon-goers, have you any suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I figured out the wings! I''m using foam display boards and paint. Now I need some help with the elf ears. What do I use? Paper mache? Nose putty? Latex? I need some advice, please.

I meant to reply to this right after I saw it. Thanks for the advice. ^^ I tried making them first, and, as you said, they didn't look very good, probably because I didn't have great material to work with ( I shoulda listened to begin with, but I thought I'd be able to come up with something half decent. No such luck). So then I went looking at costume shops, but the ones close didn't have any sort of prosthetics, and I ended up buying online and having them two day shipped. Got them today, so I'm good now.
