Listen, and you will know what I mean by "Elva's Song".

In Eldest, Eragon hears an elf woman singing a song. It goes:

Sing O white browed fate
Of ill-marked Brundal
Born under oaken leaves
To mortal woman

To get to my point, this song may be about Elva. I dont know how the elf would know about her, but still.

Sing O white browed fate - Elva has a white brow (really silver). It is her fate?

Of ill-marked Brundal - Elva was ill marked (meaning she was cursed rather than blessed). I dont know what Brundal means though.

Born under oaken leaves - Maybe she was born under an oak tree?

To mortal woman - Meaning she is a human.

Tell me what you think, please.

Hm. There always is the possibility that it could be about her but like you said before. How would the elf know about Elva? Not even Oromis knew until he asked Eragon if he had done anything in the ancient language.

It basically said dhe was born to mortal women, not buy them. And that grandmother lady said her parents had died and left her with them so maybe she's like half elf or something?

What you say makes sense. Maybe she is part elf...... Maybe she might even be Arya's sister, so thats how the elf knew of her. Islanzadi could of had her in secret, so Arya doesnt know, but the elf woman does? I dont know, just a possibility.
