Since people have been born certain families have held a curse, dormant or active, or a power, dormant or active. Most of the family hid it away, telling their children never to speak a word of it ever again.

Now most are becoming active and a problem. It was an all out war between the normal people with those that had curses or powers. After the stale mate the main families that could trace back their lineage to the beginning became the 'feathers' of a phoenix crest. This crest is used by the school that will teach all those who don't know about themselves about themselves.

This school is located on a fairly large island just of the coast of the normal civilization. However do not be confused, this island's school has burn proof rooms, and numerous technologies all about. The island has more then the school and the school's dorms. It has residential areas, malls, roads, movie theaters and more. The island was given to those with the curses and powers in hopes of diluting the anger of those gifted.

You have a curse or power and are brought to this school. Some are afraid and some see it as a new opportunity. The school is proud of it's students and proud of it's future students. Hoping to seek out those from the pure families from long ago.

Note: Pure families are ones that didn't have children with those that have powers. So they'd marry a normal person. Also they are called the Phoenix Feathers or the Phoenix Families
