Just got back from Disney World. Wasnt a very good trip though....
I had only been there not even one day when I got a call thatmy Great Grandmother had past away, so I was very sad. Then I had to take a plane to Michigan, drive half way across the state, buy clothes appropriate for the funeral, go to the funeral, drive back across the state and fly back. The planes tickets made my bank account negative but it was worth it to make the funeral.
But I havent said the most horrible part yet.
The pastor when he was talking about her life said the wrong name TWICE!! I was furious and so sad at the same time. Even thinking about it now upsets me so much I can barely type. that definitely impacted my trip but even if those events hadnt happened it was still not great.
because I hate Florida.
It rained EVERY FRICKIN DAY we were there. Then theres the waiting in lines for 12 hrs and even then you only got to ride 3 rides. Our tent leaked because of all the rain so we slept on wet beds. We also had an issue with fire ants in our beds, so I have about 6 or 7 ant bites on me. THEN we had to wash the bedding so it wouldnt smell and it was $3 to wash and $3 to dry in quarters only and of course they didnt have achange machine. We stayed on Disney property so we had to take the buses to get to the different parks and let me tell you that bus/boat/monorail system is pretty crappy. It would take over an hour to get anywhere so we couldnt do half the stuff we wanted to because we just plain ran out of time.
after Disney we drove to Daytona to see the NASCAR race (pepsi 400) that was great but the 3 hr wait for the buses to get to where we parked was not.
... it just wasnt a fun trip at all.
