I got my first tattoo in February, and basically I'm not too happy with it. There's no detail or shading done on the section that has flowers. Right now the flowers are just one color, it kinda looks like a kid just colored it in with a marker. If I go to a tattoo shop (it wouldn't be the same place I got my tattoo) and ask to get it recolored could they shade it and make it "pretty" for me?

Um, I wouldn't go to the same shop that messed it up the first time...that's basicly asking for a bad color job.

It really depends upon how dark/bright the colors are now and to what extent you want to alter the shade they are now. I'd suggest that you go to a couple of different shops in your area to see what they can/can't do.

I just got it done last night, and they did a great job with it. I'll post pics sometime.
