I wanted to know what inspires people in the guild to write.

Music. Music is my main inspiration, and I couldn't write or live without it. Sometimes certain lines of a song are what I base my whole story around. Other times, it just provokes thoughts to surface, and I start to write.

Gosh. EVERYTHING manages to inspire me. I was watching a butterfly once and I got an idea for a book! I have to carry around a notebook everywhere I go because ideas hit me randomly. Usually it's either other people, experience, works of others, of songs that do the trick.

good writing! Reading other excellent stuff is fuel to a writers mind, just as painters go hang out in art galleries and go home and paint for days on end.

I would have to say my imagination, sometimes I just sit and think, and a great idea hits me! It's a truly wonderful thing to have something to write about 3nodding
