We're trying out a new alternative ordering system here at Squeak! In an attempt to lessen the burden on our taggers, we're going to start offering a self-tag (S/T) option. The general concept is that you will be given the option to tag your own order for a significantly lower price. You'll be able to read all about this new system right here in this thread!

It's simple, really!
::Step One::
If you want to place a S/T order, you can pick from any of the rodents and accessories that have a Self Tag Button (This guy right here --> <--). Not all rodents and accessories are available with the S/T system.
Instead of filling out the normal order form, fill out a S/T order form from this thread. Disregard the normal rodent/accessory prices when filling out this form, you get special discounted S/T prices instead! Make sure an employee has S/T orders open before you post an order! Check the Workshop thread. If orders are open, then post the order in the main thread like you would any other.
::Step Two::
Wait for a shop employee to quote your order! Even though you are tagging your own order, you will need an employee to assist you. Once your order is quoted, send the trade to that employee so we can move on to Step Three.
::Step Three::
The employee will send you a PM containing the images you'll need to fill your order (make sure you can receive PMs!) You can then reply to this PM with the image of your finished order. This part's important!
::Step Four::
The shop employee is going to upload your order to our shop photobucket, everything's official and complete now!
**If you tag your rodent to go through both stages, make sure the shop gets an updated image!

Why would anyone want to pick S/T over normal ordering?
First of all, it's cheaper! Also, with S/T, orders can still go through even though the staff may be busy with other things.
You can tag S/T rodents as adults, skipping the first stage all together. This means they're breedable from the get-go!
Why aren't all rodents available for S/T?
Event/Flatsale rodents and accessories are more special, and so for now they won't be available through S/T. If the burden on our employees remains heavy through events, and things are getting backed up again, we'll consider offering everything for optional S/T.
I don't know how to tag! Pixels confuse me!

Once I get the images once, can't I just make myself a bunch of free rodents?
That's not a very nice thing to say! gonk All S/T orders are uploaded to a special section of the shop photobucket so we know which ones are official. Most Squeak employees can identify our own work (and even each others' based on our tagging styles!) so please don't try and be sneaky with us!
What if I can't send you my order's tag right away?
You have a week to tag your order. If you don't have the time, don't order S/T! This wasn't an original rule, but it's become an issue. We can't be waiting months and months for your cage, if you can't send it in a reasonable time, your order is considered canceled.
